Women’s entrepreneurship represents an opportunity to improve the position of women and a step towards equal participation not only in the labour market, but also in public and political life. BiHUB2 builds on the excellent results of the previous project (BiHUB) and aims to empower women by promoting women’s green and sustainable entrepreneurship and ensuring their involvement in decision-making processes. The project will strengthen the work of incubators in Livno, Travnik and Jajce. It will empower more than 400 women through a training program, support of business ideas and start-ups, competitions in entrepreneurial ideas for young – future female entrepreneurs, BiHUB camp for female entrepreneurs, building and supporting women’s entrepreneurial networks, and conducting consultations and other advocacy campaigns. Women will be empowered for green and sustainable entrepreneurship, which represents an important contribution to environmental protection, green transition, sustainable entrepreneurship and development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
