Informing, Participation

The goal of the project is to raise the civic participation level of young people in Latvia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.

As part of the project, an INDEX of civic participation of young people will be developed, which will be completed by 500 young people in all partner countries. In addition to that, young people will be able to strengthen their civic competences through simulations of various participatory mechanisms, such as citizens’ councils, participatory budgeting, municipal elections and public consultations.

Based on the results, a handbook for civic participation of young people will be prepared, which will help young people develop civic competences and enable them to be more actively involved in the development of municipalities.
