IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project “Karst Firewall 5.0”

We are looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “Karst Firewall 5.0″, under the Interreg Programme “Italy-Slovenia”.

The objective of the Interreg project “Karst Firewall 5.0” is to develop innovative action plans to preserve the resilience of the Karst region when it comes to wildfires and governance, with a cross-border forward-looking approach. It aims to facilitate increased dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders directly involved in wildfire response and management on both sides of the border, as well as among actors from various sectors, including the broader community affected by wildfires.

The volunteer will be carrying out communication activities:

  • Helping to communicate and disseminate project results,
  • Support the management of the social network,
  • Updating the project website,
  • Graphic design of brochures and communication materials,
  • Editing short promotional videos about the project,
  • Translating documents,
  • Writing news for the website,
  • Planning and organising networking, promotion, awareness-raising and
    information events,
  • Participating in the organisation of workshops and events,
  • Assisting with project implementation activities.

Other information:

Financial support of: 30  euros per day (week-end and holidays included).

Location: Koper, Slovenia.

Start and duration: January, for 6 month(s).

Languages*: English (C1), Italian (C1)

*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.
