Description
Providing youth with information is a key aspect of youth work, enabling young people equal and active involvement and participation in the society. Despite the significance of youth work, Slovenia has not yet developed an integrated policy for informing young people. In order to contribute to the progress and development of this field, PiNA has decided to implement a survey about youth and information in the framework of the project “NGO Network for an inclusive information society”.
Based on results of the analysis of the survey carried out among young people and organisations, as well as analysis of interviews with representatives of organisations working in the youth sector, we aimed to discover the significance and methods of web-based information for youth in the youth sector as well as in the wider NGO sector, and form proposals for measures that would enable improvements and new “products” for informing young people.
