START OF THE AWARENESS-RAISING CAMPAIGN IN THE WIN PROJECT

We are excited to announce the launch of the Awareness-raising campaign in the framework of the WIN project – Improving the position of women in the labour markets of peripheral INdustrial regions.

The campaign aims to empower women, remove barriers and promote equality in the labour market. Together with our partners, we want to:

• Promote gender equality in peripheral industrial regions.
• Highlight the valuable contribution of women to the local economy.
• Raise awareness of challenges such as unpaid care work, under-representation of women in management positions and limited access to flexible forms of employment.

Why are we launching this campaign?

Women in peripheral industrial regions face different challenges in accessing employment and career opportunities. 

Through this campaign, we aim to advocate for policies that support women in work-life balance, encourage young women to choose careers in STEM fields and leadership roles, and raise awareness of innovative solutions that create sustainable opportunities for women.

It’s not just about raising awareness and having a conversation, it’s about encouraging action, changing mindsets, supporting women in the workplace, fostering collaboration between businesses, policy makers and individuals, and creating tangible solutions for a better future.

Goals of the campaign:

• To raise awareness of the challenges faced by women in peripheral regions.
• To celebrate women’s successes in the workplace and beyond.
• To inspire action by promoting innovative solutions and policies for gender equality.

Everyone can get involved in the campaign because together we can raise the visibility of women in male-dominated industries, promote flexible and innovative employment opportunities and build stronger networks and communities for women.
